Hello and welcome to English Rose Therapy my name is Karen Clark and I am an Angelic Reiki master and Holistic practitioner. I was born on 22nd February 1971 and live in Pontefract with my husband, 2 cats and a dog. I have always been drawn to Holistic therapies as I totally agree with the way you treat the body as a whole and not just the symptoms, this seemed very natural to me. The first therapy I came across that I was interested in studying was Reiki and completed the practitioners level in 2002. I longed to become a full time therapist but something inside my just could not give up the security of a permanent wage so I carried on with my office job, the years went by and I just practiced my Reiki on friends and family. I then came across a relatively new healing therapy called Angelic Reiki, I enjoyed my traditional Reiki and was also very interested in Angels so thought I would look into it. I enrolled on the course and it changed my whole life, I finally realised that I was on the wrong path and needed to do something about it now. I finished my practitioners level of Angelic Reiki and enrolled on some other courses so I could offer a wide range of treatments for my clients. I now finally felt I was ready to hand in my notice and fulfil my dream of working as a full time therapist so I set up and run English Rose therapy incorporating big and beautiful beauty which specialises in larger clients.
